To kick off Rail Safety Week 2026, Chiltern Railways have launched a series of “Meet the HSSE Team” features, shining a spotlight on the team behind safety at the organisation. Recognising that many HSSE professionals aren’t naturally extroverted, sharing personal stories, experiences and backgrounds helps bring the safety message to life in a more meaningful way and connect with colleagues across the business. With more features to come throughout the week, Chiltern Railways are also encouraging people to reflect on a simple question: what’s your reason for working safely? It’s all part of embedding a safe and secure mindset into everything they do, every day.
