For Rail Safety Week 2026, Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership are highlighting that safety isn’t experienced the same way by everyone, with confidence shaped by lived experience, identity and how safe people feel in shared spaces. Their VIAWG survey findings are now being used to influence decision-makers, and they’re also sharing a travel safety leaflet developed with young people, offering practical tips for safer journeys.
