Atkins created a values moment for use in meetings throughout the week and beyond which contained more information about Rail Safety Week and focused on the risks associated with working on the railway and how they can be managed. Several colleagues visited schools in Derby to run dedicated STEM events with pupils. Their Signalling business hosted rail safety stand-downs on some of the live projects and they also encouraged all managers to have open conversations about safety, health and wellbeing with their teams.
