James Bird, Head of Strategic Risk and Behavioural Safety at Kier Group will be providing the keynote address at Rail Forum’s Rail Safety Week Conference on 26 June 2026.

Joanna Malin – Burke, KIER’s Social Sustainability Manager, will be leading assemblies and workshops at local primary schools on rail safety.

Kier Transportation and Nexus will have a stand on Whitley Bay Metro Station between 09:00 – 11:00 and 14:00 – 16:00 on Wednesday 26th June.
