On Wednesday, the team at London Euston teamed up with Avanti West Coast for a joint staff session focused on strengthening our shared safety culture.

From thought provoking discussions to realtime feedback, the room buzzed with ideas and a united commitment to keeping our railway safe.

To make things fun and interactive, we introduced a “Spot the Safety Hazard” challenge.
Teams analysed images, identified hidden risks, and shared solutions, reinforcing that even small hazards deserve big attention.

But the event wasn’t just about looking ahead, it was also about recognising the journey so far.

We proudly celebrated two of our own railway legends, Matt Ferguson and David O’Neil, who both marked an incredible 36 years of service in the industry.
