Further activities:

Safeguarding manager Katie lees-Williams attended The Rowans alternative education provision in Chatham with Bev Rickwood talking to young women about keeping themself safe on our network, how to report if they have any concerns and all things safeguarding.

Privledged to have Medway Council youth team on board who did a segment on female exploitation and discussions on various case studies.. mainstream education is a challenge for some of these young people but they all managed to engage and discuss in these important conversations.

They then visited Rochester Train Station to engage with young people at the end of their school day, we had such a great response from people wanting to find out more about Rail Saftey Week and know more about the Railway Guardian App.
