Translink NI

Translink NI urged everyone to put up a strong defence against danger this summer; advising to never cross the tracks for a shortcut and to always stay behind the yellow lines.

In addition, they shared their new ‘Play It Safe’ campaign in partnership with Ulster GAA and the IFA.

Plus, some great engagement with young people:

  • Pupils and staff from Glenlola Collegiate visited Bangor Station where Translink NI gave them a safety talk before they travelled by train to Lanyon Place.
  • Students from St Gerard’s School visited Great Victoria St and were given an in-station safety talk. The pupils enjoyed seeing the trains and meeting staff.
