Building Safety Together with customers and rail partners is an every day commitment for us at TransPennine Express. Our gateline colleagues raise the bar in identifying and responding to situational safeguarding issues and are a crucial part in making every journey a safe journey.

During Rail Safety Week we were pleased to engage with commuters and station colleagues at Hull Paragon Interchange to encourage risk recognition, vigilance and reporting when at our stations or on a journey.

When our gut is telling us something isn’t right, we can use the established WHAT protocol and adapt the questions to focus on safeguarding and vulnerability to frame a solution focused initial response with our customers.
