West Midlands Trains

We have a fully packed schedule of events taking place during the week across our network.

Throughout Rail Safety Week, West Midlands Trains (WMT) will be promoting rail safety messaging on internal and external channels, including in-person “Keeping It Simple” roadshows.

Alongside colleagues from British Transport Police and Network Rail, WMT staff members will be attending public-facing events at Birmingham Snow Hill on Monday 24 June from 08:00 – 11:00 and London Euston on Tuesday 25 June from 10:00 – 15:00.

On the Monday we will be partnering with Network Rail at Euston and working alongside the BTP to deliver a customer event at Birmingham Snow Hill.

On Tuesday we will be holding a ‘Keeping it Simple to be Safe’ roadshow at Crewe with members of our Safety and Operational Safety teams.

Wednesday will see a similar roadshow take place at Bletchley, whilst we will also be sharing the results of our recent Safety Culture Survey.

On Thursday we will hold a Keeping it Simple to be Safe roadshow at our Traincrew depot in the Wedge at Birmingham New Street. Our final roadshow of the week will take place at New Street station in collaboration with Network Rail.

We will also be holding a series of competitions throughout the week including a Safety Hazard spotting and a children’s safety colouring competition.
