Nexus: Relational and Restorative Practice Roadshows
During Rail Safety Week (15–21 June 2026), Nexus will deliver a programme of Relational and Restorative Practice roadshows across the network, running from 06:30 through to 00:00 to reach teams in their working environments.
Our focus is simple: making safety a conversation. We are exploring how psychological safety, listening, and everyday interactions shape whether people feel able to speak up.
At each session, we will ask one key question:
“What’s making the job harder or less safe than it needs to be?”
Colleagues can contribute through conversation, post-it feedback, or QR submissions.
We are also introducing a pocket card for all colleagues, promoting three everyday actions:
Reach – Notice and check in
Respond – Listen without blame
Lead – Make it safe to speak
This approach supports a consistent style of interaction focused on curiosity, openness, and learning.
Our aim is to better understand work as it is really done, and use those insights to make work safer and easier to get right.
