Community Rail’s Karen Bennett spoke at the Rail Safety Week launch conference on rail safety in Community Rail.

Karen also joined RSW Communications Lead, Jemma Smalls, to record a podcast. Karen talks about two fantastic rail safety resources for communities and schools:

• The Backtrack Competition which aims to reduce the amount of trespass on the UKs railways.
• Arlo’s Adventures: There and Back – A pick-a-path railway safety book which was written and illustrated by Freightliner Group’s Bessie Matthews. Bessie also designed the colouring page for our children’s colouring competition!
