Innovace Designs shared how there are a lot of different elements to running a railway safely and inherent dangers in much of what the industry does. “It’s a complex industry, with millions of working parts, including many thousands of people, not just the technology. One approach that has started to gain traction (pun intended) in railways is barrier management, also know as BowTie Methodology.” So for #RSW23, they shared a video featuring a couple of railway colleagues (including Network Rail and HS1) who gave a brief comment on how they are using the BowTie method.
