Loram UK recognises the importance of the safety workwear for the different tasks that are carried out. The comfort and practicality of that workwear is important to promote safe working practices, so Loram are using  Rail Safety Week as an opportunity to bring in safety workwear and tooling suppliers to trial at different brands/manufacturers. They will continue to promote the importance of mental wellbeing and the impact that mental wellbeing has on physical wellbeing and safe working by promoting their Mental Health First Aiders and other support programmes.
Loram UK will continue to hold a series of safety-related conversations around their site in Derby and focus on the importance of incident reporting and using their ‘Safe or Stop’ procedure; building on proactive safety management and all colleagues from across the business will be encouraged to get involved.
