South West Wales Connected

South West Wales Connected (SWWC) encouraged everyone to prioritise safety during #RSW23 and shared some key messages:

• Trespassing on the railway is illegal and dangerous. SWWC highlighted the backtrack competition which is aimed at reducing the amount of trespass on the UK’s railways.
• Stand back from the platform edge, behind the yellow line.
• If you drop something on the track, leave it and contact a member of staff.

In addition, SWWC helped to promote an opportunity at Carmarthen station for a virtual reality experience of the dangers of being distracted around the railway.

They also promoted our Children’s competitions!
