The HSQE Partnership

This Rail Safety Week, we’re proud to highlight the incredible contributions of our very own Andrea Graham, Head of Crime & Security, and Andy Picken, Head of Health & Wellbeing, who spoke at the CRSA’s Safety Stand Down Day.

Together, they delivered key insights on two vital themes: protecting our rail infrastructure from crime and prioritising long-term health and wellbeing across the TRU workforce.

Andrea and Andy looked at:

  • The major impact of theft – from critical materials to plant on infrastructure
  • Practical strategies for preventing crime on infrastructure
  • The rising threat of metal theft in the UK
  • Why strength training supports both physical and mental wellbeing – it’s about more than just muscle!
  • How building strength contributes to longer, healthier lives
  • Tips to combat the effects of our increasingly sedentary world

At The HSQE Partnership, safety is more than policy – it’s our culture.
As Rail Safety Week draws to a close, we encourage everyone in the industry to carry the lessons learnt forward, not just this week, but every day.

Huge thanks to our team for representing The HSQE Partnership and TRU with excellence!
