Colouring Competition (Ages 4-8)
+ bonus spot the difference!
Rail Forum is once again delighted to run a colouring competition for children aged between 4-8 years old that reside in the UK.
The artwork, which this year has a bonus spot the difference, is specially designed by Bessie Matthews, author and illustrator of Arlo's Adventures.

How to submit your entry:
Please post your completed colouring sheet to the address provided below. Please ensure that we can read the name and age of the entrant and that we have an email address for contacting any prize winners.

Prizes and judging:
We have two age categories for the colouring competition: 4-6 years and 7-8 years. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for both age categories are outlined below:
- 1st place: £30 Waterstones e-voucher
- 2nd place: £20 Waterstones e-voucher
- 3rd place: £15 Waterstones e-voucher
All winners will also receive a copy of 'Arlo's Adventures' by Bessie Matthews. In addition, winners of the 4-6 years category will receive a copy of the 'Lift the Flap Engineering' book by Rose Hall and Alex Frith; and winners of the 7-8 years age category will receive a copy of the 'Awesome Engineering Activities for Kids' by Christina Schul.

The winners for the two age groups will be selected by an industry judging panel incorporating the competition sponsors and artist.

Please ensure you have posted your entry to Rail Forum to arrive by the above date. Judging will take place and winners will be announced by the end of August.
Rail Safety Themed Crossword (Ages 8-11)
Following our rail safety themed Wordsearch in 2023, we are pleased to launch a Crossword for children aged between 8-11 years old that reside in the UK.
We encourage support from an adult with the Crossword to help with reviewing hyperlinked clues and supporting on more challenging prompts.

How to submit your entry:
Please email a clear picture of the completed Crossword sheet to competitions@railforum.uk. Please ensure the young person's full name and age is included in the email accompanying the completed Crossword image.
Deadline for entries: Monday 29 July 2024 at 17:00
We will be adding all entrants that have correctly completed the crossword to a random generator and the winner will be selected using this means to ensure fairness. Entries must be emailed by the above date and time.
The winner will be announced by the end of August.
